We are honored to present the 35 finalist films of the 2025 SamhainBaucogna International Film Festival (SBIFest), to be screened at the Biblioteca Municipal Vicente Campinas in Vila Real de Santo António (Portugal) 28, 29, and 30, 2025. The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony on November 30, where the winning films will be announced based on the decisions of our esteemed International Jury.

Special Awards
In addition to the main categories in which the finalist works compete for their respective prizes, the films, short films, and medium-length works are also eligible for a series of special awards, which include trophies, electronic certificates, and possible honourable mentions.
Among these, we highlight:
- The “Light of the Guadiana” Award, a tribute to the city of Vila Real de Santo António as a symbol of cultural dialogue and encounter between peoples;
- The “Best Social Message” Award, assigned by a Local Youth Jury composed of students and youth collectives, who will evaluate the works and grant this recognition to the film that best conveys a message of human and civic value.
