Special Awards

In addition to the main categories in which the finalist works compete for their respective prizes, the films, short films, and medium-length works are also eligible for a series of special awards, which include trophies, electronic certificates, and possible honourable mentions.

Among these, we highlight:

•

•

• The “Light of the Guadiana” Award, a tribute to the city of Vila Real de Santo António as a symbol of cultural dialogue and encounter between peoples;
•

•

•

• The “Best Social Message” Award, assigned by a Local Youth Jury composed of students and youth collectives, who will evaluate the works and grant this recognition to the film that best conveys a message of human and civic value.
•

•

Below is the list of works — regardless of their length — that also compete for the “Best Social Message” trophy.
